My Favorite Logos

1) One logo that I enjoy looking at is the Logo of Maple story. Personally I don't think that it is well designed but it is just that it really appealing to the eye. It's great in its own simplicity. When I first saw the logo, I was tempted and encouraged to figure out more about the game and I ended up playing for a long time. The mushroom is very cute and the maple leaf is unique in its own way that when you see it, one could think of Maple story along with the Orange Cap Mushroom.
2)
I like this logo because the logo itself looks like an owl and it's eye-catching because of the animation. When one looks at it, one would continue to stay and look while it continued to the end.
I like this logo because the image is a the words itself portrayed in a picture. Barknews, hence the dog that looks like a tv that resembles the news barking. It's very funny to look at making it memorable.

I like this logo and specifically others because the way the logo is made defines the meaning of the word of the brand/name of the company. I like how the corner marks that symbolizes the idea of focusing with a camera and the poster name is Focus.
I like this poster because for one, the cat in the logo is cute. The cat looks like a potion with a substance in it which shows poison. I like the idea of the logo showing the same name of the brand.
I like this poster because the image of the spiral makes my eye wonder in a circle and I think that is very important in a logo. To keep the viewer's attention and be memorable.

What's Your Stance? Blog Reflection

1. Honestly, I had to change my view on the topic over the time period of doing the project. I did not do so because it was clearly easier to do. When I started this project, I was struggling on coming up with a topic. Due to that, I had to come to more of a realization of the topic. I took a broader view on how technology has affect my life. It has clearly taken a toll of my entire life. I have a game that logs how many hours I have played. When I saw that it had 1,300 hours logged, I completely shut down. I was on game for over a thousand hours and it only took only a year. My view of technology changed throughout the process of the project and also helped me to manage my time with my computer. Finally, the poster shows that the technology affect humans and that how I feel. The human body in the poster grows more out of shape over time due to technology and thats what I wanted to warn the public with, before it was too late for some.

2. Since I changed my idea, I don't think that I have shown my complete image that I originally wanted in my thumbnail sketches. Originally in my thumbnail sketches, I wanted to have either a a row of words showing my idea and either a cartoon way of saying technology is good. However, even though it was completely different, I do like the way that my poster looks right now. I feel pretty accomplished to have the poster look the way it is.

3. From the first draft, I had made a simple plain document with and earth with a wire wrapped around it. It became the dot to the dot of the WiFi signal symbol. It was to show the idea of technology but it didn't quite show my stance. Therefore I went with my final poster look by showing a change over time of a person to the future.

4. Conceptually, I believe is my strongest point. This is because one can easily see what I am trying to state from my poster with the images and the text as well. However, my weakest point would probably my design part because I think that I could've better laid out my images and text.

5. The most challenging part of the project was getting an idea on the computer and actually making it work. I was unable to clearly grasp an idea that could show my stance properly.

6. Technically, the most stressful part of aligning things better with each other and putting them in places where it would benefit the composition in all. It was all because we are all not yet completely accustomed to the new program Adobe Illustrator although we may have worked with it for a while. There are still many options that I am unsure about.

What's Your Stance!

Now a days, people look at their social media feeds for entertainment, social events, and news. Have you seen posts or shared posts on current topics (political, social, or opinions on certain issues)?
- Yes. There has been many posts on social media for example, Facebook has many videos that go viral very fast concerning issues about police abuse and ISIS problems.

Has there ever been a post where you strongly agreed or disagreed with on a public topic? What was it about? What was your stance?

- It was about the issue with police and how they should handle issue. With things that goes from the death from choke hold on a Staten Island male to the shooting of black teenagers based on racial profiling. I strongly disagree with the whole idea of the police system. I don't agree with the reasons for it and the way it is run. I believe that there should be a whole new system according to the society.

Have you shared or liked a post that is a current issue or topic that is important to you? Is there an oppositional view? Why do you think your stance is right? Why are "they" wrong?

- I have liked but I never shared. There is an obvious oppositional view. I believe that I am right because of articles supporting my argument, and the conflict that arise, logic sides with my argument. They are wrong because they are brain-washed by the government idea that they know what they're doing and if they're not, whatever they do will help to further fix the situation.

List 2-3 current events/issues/topics that you feel strongly about or want to learn more about.
Post pictures and links to articles that relate to the topic.
1) Police Issue
2) ISIS
3) Foreign Policy
